Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR): Understand when and how to perform CPR on adults, children and infants, providing crucial support until emergency services arrives. This class will cover chest compressions and rescue breaths, adapting techniques for different age groups.
The Heimlich Maneuver: Learn to recognize the signs of choking and effectively administer the Heimlich Maneuver to dislodge airway obstructions in adults and children.
Naloxone (Narcan) Administration: Gain crucial knowledge about opiod overdose and how to administer naloxone, a life-saving medication that can reverse the effects of opiods in an emergency.
This interactive training combines clear instruction with practical, hands-on practice using manikins and training devices. CPHM EMS instructors will guide you through each step, ensuring you feel comfortable and confident in your ability to act.
