ITALIAN FOR BEGINNERS – PART 1
This course is intended to help the student develop enough of the fundamentals of language comprehension and syntax to independently understand basic instructions, common greetings, read and understand signs and menus with ease, and interact socially with locals while traveling, shopping or lodging in Italy. Verb conjugation is confined to present tense. Emphasis is placed upon reading comprehension. To achieve maximum benefit from this class, students should plan on some work outside of class, and optional homework will be assigned to those who wish to enrich and accelerate their learning. Other topics include some Italian cooking, music and a discussion of traditional Italian customs. The instructor has extensive experience teaching Italian in the U.S. and educating students while residing in Calabria Italy. A Materials Fee of $45 will be collected by the instructor on the first night of class, which covers both Part 1 & Part 2 courses. Ages 16 Students 13 - 15 years of age may register and attend this class along with a registered parent or guardian.

Bring to Class:
A Materials Fee of $45 will be payable to the instructor and paid directly to him, on the first day of class. This fee covers both classes Part 1 and Part 2 of Italian For Beginners courses.
