Description:
HOORAY! LEARN TO KNIT OR CROCHET!
Join this combined crochet and knitting circle and take advantage of 12 hours of instructor-led time to learn to either knit or crochet, work on a current project with support, or maybe even finish one you've been holding on to? But truly, NO EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY! For first-time knitters, please bring a pair of size 8 US (5mm) straight knitting needles and some worsted-weight yarn (look for #4 on the label) to class. For first-time crochet students, please bring a size 9 or I (5.5mm) hook and some worsted-weight yarn to class. The class will begin to practice the basics the very first night in a fun, supportive atmosphere! The instructor, formally trained at The Hill Institute in Florence, Massachusetts, has been knitting for 26 years and crocheting for 24. She is also the former knitting and crochet instructor with the Scotia-Glenville Central School District's Continuing Education Program (2008 - 2020) Limited to 12. Ages 16 and up, or children 10 - 15 years of age, may register and attend this class along with a registered parent or guardian.
