Description:
BEGINNING GUITAR
Beginning Guitar is for anyone looking to learn the basics and develop a good foundation for essential chords, scales, left-hand and right-hand techniques, applicable to every style of music. The fundamentals taught will be the building blocks that will enable you to play your favorite songs. Participants will need to bring a guitar in good working order, acoustic or electric (no amplification necessary).
Guitar instructor, Jim Mattrazzo, has performed and taught guitar for over 40 years. Jim has played in several rock bands and as a soloist performing both smooth jazz guitar and classical guitar, at special events. A Materials Fee of $25 will be collected by the instructor, at the first class. Limited to 12. Ages 14 Students ages 10-13 may register and attend with a registered parent or guardian.
Building: High School West Room 4 (Alternate Location 1/15, 1/22 & 2/5 - HS West - Room 44)

Fee: Residents $75; Non-residents $85
Bring to Class:
